Sayyar Family Dentistry & Associates, serving patients all across Glen Allen, VA, is a full-service family dental practice providing the latest in dental treatments and care to patients of all ages. It is our goal to give our patients healthy smiles that they can be proud of. We want to help our patients achieve their dream smile as easily as possible.

Dr. Sayyar is a gentle, caring dentist who has worked in the Richmond area as a general dentist since 1998. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Old Dominion University in 1992, before attending Virginia Commonwealth University where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Sayyar is also now part of the distinguished group of AGD members who, through rigorous dedication, have studied a wide range of clinical approaches in all dental disciplines and received his Academy of General Dentistry Mastership in 2020.
In addition to his work at the office, he is also an assistant professor in the Department of General Practice at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sayyar practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry using only the most advanced materials and procedures.
In his spare time, he likes to run marathons, go hiking, and scuba dive.
Barbara joined our team in November of 2016 as an office manager for our Glen Allen location. She comes to us with 19+ years of dental experience including 9 years of pediatric dental care and both clinical and administrative knowledge. Barbara absolutely loves making your family’s dental visit feel comfortable and enjoyable.
Barbara resides in New Kent County with her two daughters and son. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, home D.I.Y projects, and weekend road trips.
Matin was born and raised in Boston, MA and has lived in Virginia for the past 11 years surrounded by her wonderful family. Matin began attending dental assisting in high school and continued on to J. Sergeant Reynolds where she graduated. Matin enjoys the positive environment in the office along with our compassionate and caring staff.
Outside of the dental practice, Matin enjoys volunteering in the community, playing sports and spending time with her family and friends.
Jessica enjoys time in the office helping patients and families schedule their dental appointments. She will always go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. When not in the office Jessica can be found walking her dog and spending time with friends and family.
